The Sunflower Chronicles: February 2013
http://thesunflowerchronicles.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Our poor neglected blog could use an update or two which we will try do this month. There hasn't been much going on besides it being a long cold winter here in Minnesota. I think everyone in the house is ready for some warm sunshine. Comments and goofy looking hair when I have to do it. After the factory line has left the bathroom it's off to breakfast. Gotta love the Angry Birds hat my sister Lori got Masha. Lera and Caelia are rather fond of their hat/mittens things we found at Target. This is our son&...

The latest on our adoption. So a long journey is coming to a disappointing end, we're frustrated and heartbroken to say the least and it's taken a lot out of us emotionally, financially and frankly physically. To think that Angelina would be better off in an orphanage than dancing with her sisters is upsetting beyond belief. She should be a part of our family and be loved! So where does that leave us? Caelia and Valeria were less than excited. They were happier once they saw their Miss Camilla. All summer I heard about KWI. They really love her. She is the girls' favorite para. We are very blessed by all of the staff at Fraser Academy. Everyone on staff is amazing and they adore the girls. She was delighted to be going back to school. She really missed her friends from school. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is our Lera. She was adopted from Ukraine and officially became ours on February 22, 2008...

It is almost Christmas here. There is snow outside. The Christmas tree has been decorated. It is a time to be thankful for all of our blessings. One of my favorite blessings turns six years old today.in Minnesota.in a home with a brother, sisters and parents who love her. She has changed so much since we first met our little Russian Princess in 2009! She has become such a big girl. She is smart and so very sweet. She is also chatty and bossy. Mostly she is very loved.. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). She is...

A busy time of year. Masha has completed her first year of school! Actually, she had her graduation party in June, she has not graduated from preschool yet (she still has one more year) but she shined and was so proud! Unfortunately she was so excited we had a hard time keeping her in focus! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is our Caelia. Her name means Heavenly. Her birth changed the way we view the world. She is a wonderful spirit. She is gentle and determined and everyone who meets her...Sara is our l...

End of the year.already? Yes, it is already approaching the end of this very busy year. From most recent to. September. Yes, I am neglecting my blog that much! We had a lovely Christmas and Christmas Eve. We had lots of relatives and friends over to our house on Christmas Eve and the kids eventually were convinced to go to bed so that Santa would come. They had a very happy Christmas. This is Caelia's Dr Who sleep shirt that she has decided must be worn to Christmas dinner as well as bed. Valeria is stru...

The Watts Clan: Who am I?
http://wattsclan.blogspot.com/2015/05/who-am-i.html
LIVING LAUGHING LOVING GROWING. I'm mean I know I am a mom and a wife and a Christian. I know I clean houses to make some extra money to get us out of debt. I know I work for the church. I know I love Jesus. And I know that I want to spread the love of Jesus to the world. But who am I? As a person, not as the roles that defined me. What defines me if I took away all those roles who would I be? I know that I am a child of the king. And I know that I am a sinner. But what else is there, who am "I"? I am a ...

January 18, 2009 · 3:33 pm. Sad news from Haiti. We just learned that the birthmother came back to the orphanage and took the girls back. She said she still wanted the girls to be adopted by us but was heartbroken over the death of the twin and that she wanted the girls with her for a time. We were told that they wouldn’t be able to spend time with us at the hotel on the parent trip, so…. 10 responses to “. Sad news from Haiti. January 18, 2009 at 4:50 pm. January 18, 2009 at 5:16 pm. The Sunflower Chronicles: April 2011

April 10th.One year in. Wow, it's hard to believe it has been one year since we got Masha home! A lot has happened in that year and she has grown so much and learned so much. We've had our ups and downs and are still getting accustomed to having a smaller girl, she wants so much to do everything her big sisters do and more and gets easily frustrated by not being capable of keeping up with them. Masha has pretty much abandoned her use of Russian, but still answers "Da" when I ask her if she wants to fly!

The Sunflower Chronicles: School Pics 2014-2015
http://thesunflowerchronicles.blogspot.com/2014/11/school-pics-2014-2015.html
This year was Sara's first time getting school pics done, I would say it turned out pretty good and she is an absolute doll. She really likes kindergarten so far and started off going for just a couple hours. We extended it by another two hours to get her adjusted and in a month or two will be going a full day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is our son. He is 18 years old and adored by his sisters (and parents). He is kind and makes them laugh and meticulously guards his room from their...This ...
