I've never thought myself as a travel-happy sort of person - the idea of going on trips would have been so inconceivable 5 years ago. Tuesday, January 30, 2007. Do viral URTIs last for so many days? Feeling absolutely miserable now, plus stitches will FINALLY be taken out tomorrow! Really can't wait, since all 4 stitches have actually broken down and the ends of the nylon digging into the raw wound is actually causing a hell lot more pain than the wound itself. Shall I make it a point to tell the dentist that he needs to perhaps, umm ., practice his knot-tying a bit more? Had a nice time back at school today, met so many old friends!

Thankfully it wasn't marred by the knowledge that I'm on call today - I only just remembered last night, which of course is no comfort but at least I spent Fri and Sat blissfully ignorant. Monday, April 30, 2007. Almost $100 for the raw materials for just one dish. Made up this batch of Mini Toasts with Yx tonight, it was well-received. Tuesday, October 30, 2007. Feeling EXTREMELY grossed out by life right now. And of course, by certain people. Had a pseudo-weekend yesterday, drove down to KM8 at the beach to chill out some. Drinking is incredibly expensive in Singapore, but KM8 on a weekday night is just too alluring to pass up. Almost fell asleep actually, heh. Maybe I'll cook a little this week, just to loosen up. Thursday, November 30, 2006. Took this shot from my room this evening, and TOTALLY loved it! Look closely at the bright reflected sunset on the windows, and yet just overhead hangs a rack of rolling storm clouds. I don't know why, but the sky was split in half today - one side of nice, serenity and another of utter chaos. Made a short movie of my sand dollar moving through the sand today! Sand dollars are echinoderms, closely-related to starfish, sea urchins and sea cucumbers. Nice to hear from you Dopey!
