Those Class A motorhomes are bigger and nicer than our apartment. (And there’s a 90% chance it’s a retired couple with a tiny dog in there.). A little Burt’s Bees chapstick can really brighten your mood. Try it. Going on a six month trip? Install Sirius/XM immediately. You can never listen to too much NPR. Well, almost never. Living in a van is da coolest.

The hole in the earth was not created by a crater as originally thought, but rather by volcanic activity back in the day. No rivers flow into the lake. Just lots of rain and snow. The water is pure, clean, and bluer than the sky above. At nearly 2,000 feet, it’s the deepest lake in the U.S. Crater Lake and Wizard Island.

You know the way you smell when you first come home from the beach? Well, I want to make a cologne that captures the essence of that smell. 8211; Cosmo Kramer. Keep Manhattan, just gimme that country side! Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Memorial Day Weekend Visit. Jake and his dad are out working cattle today. I am working on my second garden area. I am a human roto-tiller. We worked up the ground with the tractor, which left me with gigantic chunks of dirt the size of soccer balls. Together both gardens are about the size of a basketball court. Now comes patience, the hard part. Also, mom and dad came to visit this weekend. We played yard games, including cornhole.

Tenacious frogs climb way up to the top. This one was stuck on the window, but when I went to get a closer look, he jumped onto the Honeysuckle vine. This one stayed on the window. They climb up here, I think, because this is where the good bugs are. One night, Jake noticed a faint flashing light on the window. It was a lightning bug!
