Bits and Pieces of the Lives of the Knieses! Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Something I've learned in photography recently, especially with reluctant preschoolers and children, is that sometimes the best shots come after the shot. A child that doesn't want their picture taken may be difficult for the shot, but if you take a picture (or pretend to) and then say, "okay done," and then take another one (quickly before they have time to move! You'll usually get the shot you were looking for in the first place!

E,E, and Little E Stringfellow. Elaina finally lost her first tooth. She is a bit of late bloomer where this is concerned, however, I did not lose my first tooth until 2nd grade so.like mother, like daughter. She has had a loose tooth for a while and has been playing it safe with it. When she came home from school yesterday it was barley hanging on. E,E, and Little E Stringfellow. Elaina recently said."Mama, I want to go putt putt again soon.". A few Friday's ago, we had a free night so we went. And, had a great time. Just some action shots from the day. Our dear friends, Carl and Sabrina, met us there. She texted me hours before to see if she could meet me to drop something off. I told her where we would be and asked if she wanted to play too. And, the rest is history. We all scored a hole in one.Elaina scored more than 1. When I flipped it around.

E,E, and Little E Stringfellow. We have had quite a winter around here this winter. It's pretty cool. Elaina has loved the snow days and no school. This happened the week before last (just before Valentines Day) but I am just now getting a chance to blog about it. I hate I missed it but love that Elaina got to play in what I hear was a great snow for playing in and building stuff. Such as this (Erik sent me this pic via phone):. Bits and Pieces of the Lives of the Knieses! Monday, November 22, 2010. We time flies when you're having fun! I'm already getting sad that Ryne is almost a year and a half. Yikes! Ryne is becoming more and more "fun! He's a ball of energy and learning new stuff everyday! Ryne is by far rocking his puzzles now. He's mastered most 2 years puzzles that we have and he's moved on to a 3 years puzzle of the ABC's. He LOVES doing puzzles! Sam, Brooke, and Brylee. Friday, April 1, 2011. Robert Grant Miller (the best Grandpa to ever live) was born on February 23, 1922 and passed away at 89 years old this past Friday, March 25 at 9:03 am March 25 just happened to be my Grandmother (his wife of 62 1/2 years) birthday! He was able to tell Grandma "Happy Birthday" that morning, and then passed away with my mom, Grandma, Aunt Sarah, and Uncle Bob at his home. Grandpa and Grandma Miller.
