Life of a Cupcake Baker: Chocolate Cinnamon Mini Cupcakes
http://www.lifeofacupcakebaker.com/2012/02/chocolate-cinnamon-mini-cupcakes.html
Chocolate Cinnamon Mini Cupcakes. YES THAT'S AN EGG CUP! As you know January was the month of bite-sized treats. I'm going to say these count as a January special (I made them yesterday). Yesterday Harvey was at pre-school so I got a-baking whoop whoop. The idea was to make something a bit more adult in taste, I always have an abundance of chocolate in my house and was scrabbling about for something to go with it. I've already done Peanut Butter. While rummaging I came across Cinnamon, yey! Covers 24 min...

Life of a Cupcake Baker: Citrus Cheesecake
http://www.lifeofacupcakebaker.com/2013/04/citrus-cheesecake.html
I love no-bake cheesecake, baked ones just seem wrong to me and are never as good. Every Sunday myself and the brood go to my husband's Great Aunt's house for a roast, the woman is 92 but wouldn't have it any other way. I set the table, do the gravy and drinks, Aunty P and Brad dish up. I tell you what, her roasts are sooooooo good! Anyhoo, last Saturday my husband decided it would be a good idea to take a baseball bat to our windscreen! So it was down to me to make us a roast! And it was LOVELY! Blitz t...

Life of a Cupcake Baker: June 2014
http://www.lifeofacupcakebaker.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
I've only gone and done it! Have you ever gone online and bought beautiful cake decorating goodies like these? Have you ever excitedly opened your parcel and gazed in amazement at the colourful joy inside? Have you ever gone to decorate your perfect treats, only to look closer at the labels and realise what you bought IS NOT EDIBLE! Dull, undecorated cakes it is then. I was the victim of this myself and it is soo disappointing.I can tell you! So I made one myself! Here it is TotallyEdible.co.uk. The Grea...

Alice in Cakeland: September 2013
http://aliceincakeland.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
A blog about tea, cake, fabric and yarn. Thursday, 26 September 2013. Baking Bad with Alice: gingerbread dinosaurs. There are a lot of baking blogs out there, where excellent bakers post beautiful photos of their perfect food and share edible pearls. Of wisdom (HA HA HA did you see the little baking pun I threw in there for you? This is not one of those blogs. I'm here to help those of you who want to butcher perfectly good recipes and produce questionable results. I opted for margarine. 189;tsp ground c...

Alice in Cakeland: New blog! and crochet cushion beginnings
http://aliceincakeland.blogspot.com/2013/09/new-blog-and-crochet-cushion-beginnings.html
A blog about tea, cake, fabric and yarn. Thursday, 12 September 2013. And crochet cushion beginnings. Hey look, I have a blog now! After a long summer of doing things outside, I need indoor things to fill my time. A new crochet project, taking photos of said crochet project, and blogging them should do the trick! I'm making a cushion cover, using Lucy of Attic24's Summer Garden Granny Square. Pattern, and her join-as-you-go. Terrific progress so far! 13 September 2013 at 04:23. This is adorable Alice!

Life of a Cupcake Baker: Peanut-Butter Chocolate Cupcakes & Mr Froggy
http://www.lifeofacupcakebaker.com/2011/07/peanut-butter-chocolate-cupcakes-mr.html
Peanut-Butter Chocolate Cupcakes and Mr Froggy. This morning we had a visitor. Look how small he is next to Harvey! Harvey was absolutely delighted by the visit! He named said frog Mr Froggy (very original) and has been in a great mood all day (please come back tomorrow Mr Froggy). As my littl'un has been such a joy today I decided to make him a little treat (and use him as a guinea pig for my idea). Just as I was frosting my cakes my dad decided to pop in and so I had 2 guinea pigs and 4 thumbs up!

Life of a Cupcake Baker: Apple Crumble Cake
http://www.lifeofacupcakebaker.com/2013/04/apple-crumble-cake.html
My favourite dessert is apple crumble.or any fruit crumble for that matter. Really hot with vanilla ice cream or cold with hot custard. Because of my crumble fetish I have worked hard to perfect my crumble topping and by-heck I've gone and done it! Crunchy, sweet (but not too. Sweet) and not powdery at all. I had some apples which none of my brood wanted to eat (as they were on the bruised side) so, as I've made crumble loads already, I decided to see if I could turn it into a cake. 1 tsp baking powder.
