A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, November 15, 2004. Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! Four years ago at 10:13 pm, via c-section, the Girl was born. I seriously can't believe it's already been four years. I love the Girl so much. And yes, I know I'm biased, but she is dang smart! She can say the Pledge of Allegiance, including indivisible. I don't think I could say that at four. Posted by Kelley @ 11:07 AM. Wednesday, November 03, 2004. Can it be over now? I ended up reading Megan's pledge.

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, March 29, 2004. A big thumbs up for me at Mickey D's. The next time you see someone's child behaving nicely or reacting well to discipline, maybe you might compliment them. It can really make a frazzled mom's day. Posted by Kelley @ 5:03 PM. A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Saturday, December 18, 2004. And your words will come back to you. The Girl has a new favorite doll. She got this doll for her birthday and absolutely loves it. "Sparkle" is now her daughter and goes everywhere with the Girl, even to visit Santa yesterday. As we're negotiating our way through the trees and displays full of ornaments, these words waft up to me: "Sparkle! You do not touch those! You're going in timeout when we get home! A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Monday, February 14, 2005. Intrigue at my house! We live in an older home, circa 1977, so we're obviously not the first owners. I'm not sure how many people have owned this house. I do know of at least one couple plus they rented out the house a few times. I don't know anything about these people but there was something going on with at least one couple. Yeah, I'm nosy, but it's so intriguing! Posted by Kelley @ 11:24 AM. Monday, February 07, 2005. A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Black house, chartreuse trim. While reading Tish's post. About her uncle, LuLu, it struck me that maybe her uncle and my great-uncle are related. Or maybe just both a little off-the-wall. Uncle J had a thing about saving beer cans. He always said he was saving them to take them to the recycler, but they just kept stacking up in his house. When kids would come to his house at Halloween, he'd give them grocery bags full of beer ...Then,...

The phone company can't hook up a landline for us because they claim our address doesn't exist. The only record they have for a road with this name is in another, nearby township which split from our wee hamlet in 1811. Do you think they had all-in-one packages with call waiting included for only $39.95 per month back then? But look, I have ranch dip!

A 44 year old stay at home mom's ramblings. Thursday, October 25, 2007. Fundraising is not fun! Somehow I let myself be talked into the position of chairing the Fall Fundraiser for the Girl's school. And chairing in this case means doing most of it myself. Maybe I would have been better off doing the school newsletter every month. But, we did sell a lot! Posted by Kelley @ 8:52 PM.
