It’s been quite awhile since I’ve written a blog. Life’s been rather tricky lately, making it hard to pinpoint what I’m for. Brené Brown, one of my current inspirations, refers to my ‘rather tricky’ as a messy middle, the space where You’re too far in to turn around and not close enough to the end to see the light.

My brother was far from perfect, but I think that posthumous reflection should stray toward the ‘best of’ side of people. There is no peace to be had in focusing on imperfection. It’s in your heart, not your head. And you’ve got to sing and sing and sing. And so I shall. It’s pretty sweet stuff. It'll Shine When it Shines. Down here on the ocean floor.
