It was a nice sunny day and they pick you up at 11am and return at about 5pm. the tour included a trip on the Maid of the Mist boat which goes to the bottom of each falls. Miss Adventure Travels - Home in Bloomington, Illinois. Search for Missing Tuber. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. On June 4th, I wrote a blog about a missing kayaker on the Mackinaw River. On June 6th, his body was found by his family near where he disappeared. It was an unfortunate and needless tragedy. This certainly has been a very wet and deadly spring for many parts of the country. It was very hot and humid today, so when we returned home, we stayed inside most of the rest of the day. Miss Adventure Travels - Home in Bloomington, Illinois. Rte 66 Road Trip to Atlanta, IL. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Old Rte. 66 passes through Normal and Bloomington on its way to California. So, this morning, Yuma and I decided to follow it south about 30 miles to Atlanta, Illinois. After leaving Bloomington, it follows the I-55 interstate and passes through the villages of Shirley, Funks Grove and Mclean before reaching the town of Atlanta. Yuma spotted this old fire truck in a farmers front yard.

Donna is working the evening watch at Walgreens tonight, she had an appointment to have some test done this morning for her leg swelling up, and they found no blockages.
