About

http://www.whatwestarted.ca/about.html

The Community Arts and Media (C.am) Project began with Felicia Mings and Paul-Justin Williams. Both share a history of growing up in areas that were not very culturally diverse. At times, Felicia and Justin found the lack of access to the variation between; Black Canadian cultures, histories, occupations, and interests limiting. From young ages they were eager to connect with people that looked like them and shared their ethnic backgrounds.
