Wednesday, August 22, 2012. First Day of School Kickoff. I have fond memories of the first day of school. New clothes, a new backpack, my parents making us a special breakfast, and my aunt coming over to wish us off on the bus. This year, two nieces of ours are starting kindergarden! To make it as special as I remember it, I put together little treat bags for their first day.
