May 24th, 2011. We had our last perinatologist appointment today. The baby weighs about 5 lbs 12 oz and looks perfect according to the perinatologist. Next week, I have an appointment with the OB who will be doing my c-section and then I think that's it until the 15th! The baby didn't move his hands from his face again today, so the ultrasound pictures are pretty distorted. He definitely has to be cuter in real life! Please note, I only post the best pictures on here). Jason - 6lbs 9oz. Nana - 7lbs 5oz.

June 14th, 2011. My mom got here on Saturday morning. We took a short nap and then headed to the French grocery store, Cora. After buying a ton of food, we stopped and got a nutella crepe with some AWESOME cream. Ah, indulgence. I am REALLY excited about the food we got - all food that I haven't been able to eat for the last 9 months (smoked salmon, brie, and cured meats). Jason and Hailey cuddling as I make dinner. May 14th, 2011. I already have a scrap book :). Oh - and I bought a little monster or snake hat and scarf. It was too cute to pass up. Here's the kid cabinet. I want to paint it and make it cuter somehow. Any suggestions? After the flea market, my friend and I hit up a local discount store. They sold everything there: car rims, dog toys, canvas for painting, flowers, and groceries. For some reason, I have a hard time embracing sausage in a can. 2011-05-16 12:36 am (UTC). Wyatt's first 2 weeks. June 30th, 2011. Getting ready to go into the OR. All the Labor and Delivery folks wear hot pink, so Jason had to wear them as well :). About to meet Wyatt (we didn't know his name until he came out of my womb screaming - Wyatt means warrior). LOVE the proud look in his eyes. Wyatt had a big umbilical cord. May 31st, 2011. Today we had a regular OB appt - and officially met the Doctor who will be doing my c-section. I had her for one of my early OB appt's and really liked her - she was very thorough! June 9th, 2011. I am 38 weeks 1 day today. I had my last OB appointment and the midwife told me the baby's head is quite engaged in the pelvis. Not 100% sure what the means - except that he may be ready to enter the world! We have narrowed down our name list to 3. 2 of the 3 are consistent and the 3rd is the wild card - and it changes daily. 2011-06-09 11:40 pm (UTC). Well, he is a wild card.". July 6th, 2011. My mom left yesterday. It was great having her here! Wyatt is officially 3 weeks old! He is starting to show a little more personality - he is more alert and cries a little more when he doesn't get what he wants. Sometimes when I am feeding him, he starts to choke, so I immediately take him off the boob and start patting his back. He gets so angry!
