Racers, I pack lighter than most long distance cycle tourists I meet on the road. Choosing to travel light inevitably involves compromises and is mores suited some destinations than others. It means deciding where my priorities lie. Do I carry extra food, or ride longer distances? Enjoy more luxuries, or settle for simpler living? 2 x quick drying boxer shorts.

August 11th, 2015. I biked with MapMyRide. Went farther south then I have been before and discovered the rt 137 underpass. It was deliciously close to a Starbucks so I am excited for my next longer ride to take a break in the middle! On the way back I spotted this log with 3 little flowers growing out of it. It almost looks man made but it was definitely of the path so I think it’s natural. Either way it made me smile. When imaginations ride wild! August 4th, 2015. I biked with MapMyRide!
