This side of the gravel road]. Saturday, June 30, 2012. My thumb is getting greener. go me! My garden is turning out pretty awesome this year. My mother is an amazing gardener, and so is my Grandma - so naturally I want to be too. Last year with the wedding, well - let's say it started out well and ended poorly. I planted a lot of pumpkins and gourds for decorating at the wedding and those darn vines ended up completely taking over my garden. Potatoes (obviously), decorative corn, sweet corn, zucchini, e...

[this side of the gravel road]: summer slipped by..
http://milliner2cowan.blogspot.com/2012/09/summer-slipped-by.html
This side of the gravel road]. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. I cannot believe how fast this summer slipped by . I worked a lot, and when we were off work together we tried to fit camping in. As you have read, we went to Meaford with Little Miss H in July and since then - I've not blogged. Well you haven't missed much - it's been a busy summer, I worked a lot between my two jobs and that left little time for social time and camping trips - which is okay! This side of the gravel road]. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Hey Everyone - sorry but the posts have been super sparse. I'm telling you, it's not for lack of trying - I have sat down tons of times, and then got side tracked with wedding details, phone calls and catching up with friends. My garden is growing at a rapid pace, which is very exciting! Our buck and doe was on June 18th, and was a huge success! About a week later, we bought a screen door for the front door. It's hard to believe on June 25th, w...

This side of the gravel road]. Thursday, July 5, 2012. Our Girls Day Out! A week ago today, a few girls and I travelled to St. Jacob's to take in the Farmer's Market and Antique Stores - we had a blast! My feet were killing me by the end of our big day, but it was well worth it. If you know me, you know I love old stuff and I already have enough in my house but I could not help but pick up this awesome re-purposed window jam cupboard - I freaking love it and fell in love with it instantly! Our cousins fr...

This side of the gravel road]. Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Despite what you may think, I am still alive. It's been busy, and needless to say - I think many people will find this time of year much more exciting then the winter months - when a weekly, or something daily tradition was to update the world on my life. Now, well it's too darn nice outside to sit still, and blog. It's tough. To keep up with the growth of the grass on our property let alone challenging myself to a blog! Wedding plans are going great!
