So, we went to the dr and had an ultrasound and estradiol test on day 15 bc I hadn't gotten a positive OPK yet (started them day 12). well the ultrasound showed, what we thought, was a follicle about 19cm and a nice thick lining.but estradiol was only 125 (last month is was over 600 when we did IUI! The trip over in the wee morning, in the snow and ice, to the Dr's office was that 80 mile drive we hate. I think we usually hate the drive back even more because we have gotten news that we can't inseminate for the last several months. Well today was different. It was an awesome moment. Solid and strong at 142 BPM. (all the old wives tales say that means it's a boy but I'm sticking with girl lol) This week we are the size of an avocado. Muscles are developing and his/her face can display some expressions. Our little monkey weighs almost 3 ounces! Finally, some good news!
