Sunday, April 01, 2007. Jared Turns Five Again? Jared turns 5 again! In fact, he refused to believe me that he really turned 5 the day before. He believed that he turned 5 AT his NASCAR racecar birthday party. This was his first "real" birthday party with friends and he had a blast! We met at our house first, had cake, ice cream and presents and then spent the next several hours playing at an indoor play place (tubes, slides, ropes, games, tunnels, etc.) called the Jungle. I love that we got this on film!

Saturday, August 04, 2007. These Guys Should Be Famous! Since I only have a few minutes to post, I've picked something worth bragging about! This past Wednesday we attended a casual and fun swim meet at our pool. On this occasion the parents were given an opportunity to participate in a relay race. So, Dave and three of our friends, Aki, Alfred, and Dan, who also have 7 year olds on the swim team, bravely agreed to swim. You know, it's been a while for these guys! I love you Dave! Welcome to the Goodale Family Musings. Monday, October 11, 2010. Camping with the 11-year-old Scouts. This past weekend our Boy Scout troop's 11-year-old Scouts and their Dads went camping. As you can tell from this extremely serious picture on the right, we had a good time! As for where we camped, we just drove north on the 55 for about an hour and turned off toward Sage Hen Reservoir. Just picked a nice little spot at the side of the road up near Cascade. It turned out to be a great spot!
