The Murrays: June 2009
http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2009. Since Brian has to be out at Ft. Lewis for a month and a half this summer he wanted to have a car with him so we decided to make a road trip out to Washington. It had been 20 years since I'd been out through that part of the country and I'd never been to Washington before so I was pretty excited about going. To make the trip go quicker (and be more relaxing! We found a hotel with our trusty new GPS and got extremely lucky to be staying in the same town as the famed Corn Palace!

The Murrays: August 2008
http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2008. We're not in Kansas anymore. But we were last week! Ok, that was really cheesy.anyways. And amazingly Ian wore a hat for a good bit of the time we were there. When Brian went to put it on him I said, "He hates hats. He won't wear it." Hmm, I guess Daddy has the magic touch. We did some other fun little stuff like go to the playground and the little lake on post and swim in the hotel pool. But the best part of our trip was getting to see our friends, the Cooks! So, we had a wonder...

http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2009/05/enjoying-nice-weatherand-just-hanging.html
Monday, May 11, 2009. Enjoying the nice weather.and just hanging out. The weather has been off and on nice lately.mostly nice though. It's warmed up considerably and it's been sunny a lot. It's at least not snowing, right? So, we've been taking advantage of it as much as possible. The kids have some great new outdoor toys this year, including a t-ball set, a little lawnmower and a golf set. We also got the grill out and have been enjoying our deck. These are the WONDERFUL pictures taken by Jennifer McKinney, AKA MckMama. Susan and I had a really fun day driving to Charlotte with all four kids (yes, we're probably a little crazy). But it was well worth it, and here's the proof. One of my faves. Absolutely my favorite- it captures him so well! Eli was a little mad about getting a picture,. My sweet little man.

So maybe this is as far as we got over the summer, mostly because of my morning sickness making it nearly impossible to get out in the heat, but I think the boys had fun with it anyway. Maybe I can continue it into the fall, you know, when my energy comes back and it's not so hot outside! Zack's picking up seashells to decorate the mini-castles. The storm decided to stall...

The Murrays: Easter....finally!
http://daytonflyermurrays.blogspot.com/2009/04/easterfinally.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Wow, I've finally got videos uploaded and ready to post! I know it's a bit past Easter but here are just a few pictures from the fun day we had at my mom's house. The kids did really well searching for eggs. Obviously the eggs weren't hard to find but they got the concept of putting them in the basket pretty well. I have a video but I've tried several times to upload it and it doesn't seem to be working on here. Oh well. Alexis' hair is getting so long. Great pictures.
