The Chronicles of Willapa. Saturday, March 26. Thursday, March 24. We had a giant, record-setting dump of snow a couple weeks ago. It's hard to see, but I had to dig out the driveway to get to work. Over 3 feet of snow in this storm. The snow helped reflect the light from the giant moon last weekend, so that was nice. The front yard illuminated by moonlight. Here's a couple photos:. The Chronicles of Willapa. Monday, November 28. Just got our Christmas tree on Saturday, and decorated it last night. Here's a step-by-step. I definitely prefer a real tree to a fake one. They smell so nice. Somewhere in here is the perfect tree. First Christmas as a married couple! Shoulda been a lumberjack like the Fords. I don't need no stinking tractor ride! Back at the house. I spotted it again in the same general spot (near my garden patch), and when it was flying, it had a crest on its head like a grouse. So I'm not sure what it is.
