Friday, March 20, 2015. It was snowing so hard when we went to bed that we couldn't see our neighbor's home across the street. So the next day was a snow day for the kids and the government closed so Patrick got to stay home as well. Somehow our bedroom window has become the official "look-out" when it snows. We piled into the van and drove back to the old neighborhood to enjoy their sledding hill. The kids went by themselves. Maggie and Stella videos. Stella, where are you? Stella walks to Mommy.

Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Maggie and Stella were invited to their first birthday party for their friend Mauraya - Will's classmate's little sister. Thursday, June 25, 2009. Ode to the end of maternity leave. No photos, but what a milestone day! June 24 marked Liam and Coralie's first day at daycare, the official end of my long and blissful maternity leave, and my first day back at work (not to mention, my first day working in an actual office. Fortunately, we can rest easy knowing that they are in the care of a wonderful and loving woman - and the hard part is juggling work while counting down the hours each day until we can see our babies again!

On Saturday morning, we woke up to do some laundry, when lo and behold - we discovered about 3 inches of water covering half of our basement. Yikes! All in all, a definite pain-in-the-butt situation, but thankfully, one that was not terribly complicated nor expensive to resolve.
