While I was away at Creative Estates, my friends and I {even though I wasn’t actually present} hosted a baby shower for my dear friend, Cindi. Since I was going to be gone, I was in charge of items that could be bought and prepared ahead of time. One of my duties: the party favors. Dun dun dun. . . At HL, you say? Repeat seve...

In the Loop: August 2014
http://im-in-the-loop.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2014. After reading this story. I don't feel so bad anymore. Talk about incredible craftsmanship! What's the longest you've ever worked on a project? Monday, August 4, 2014. Bead Necklace on wire. I've done Bead Crochet. For some time now, but I haven't been brave enough to try straight, simple bead-on-wire necklaces. The wire was just too intimidating and .final. Well, I purchased the supplies, and it was time to dive in. It's far from perfect but acceptable for a first attempt.

In the Loop: Quick Doily
http://im-in-the-loop.blogspot.com/2014/09/quick-doily.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. Here's a little doily I whipped up yesterday. Hubby called it a little Sunburst Doily! It only measures 5" across. I blocked it with water, but no starch yet. I'm trying to decide if I want it for this one or not. But I'm happy with the cheery colors! Is from Olga at Lacy Crochet. Check out her other great patterns, too! September 9, 2014 at 4:20 PM. Its a pretty doily! September 10, 2014 at 8:50 AM. It is beautiful, and you are right Olga has wonderful patterns. Hugs to you,.

In the Loop: July 2014
http://im-in-the-loop.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. I just picked this up the other day with the purpose of taking it apart and using the yarn. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was done holding 2 strands together, so I'll have even more yarn than I originally thought! Now to decide what to make. Monday, July 28, 2014. Which way do you turn your work? According to Lion Brand, this is the correct way. So I'm curious how many of us do it the 'correct' way and how many do it the 'incorrect' way. Monday, July 21, 2014. In the Loop: March 2014
http://im-in-the-loop.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Another Doily CAL-Friendship Doily. We're still waiting on pictures from last year's Doily CAL. Ughwhat a huge project, a happy accomplishment, and well-received gift, but still no finished pictures posted! They'll make an appearance eventually. In the meantime, I've started another one. March and April tend to be very busy months for us, but I was still super excited when Stitchy. Suggested another Doily CAL starting on April 17. I love this pattern. Saturday, March 22, 2014.

In the Loop: January 2015
http://im-in-the-loop.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 8, 2015. Like many others, I had a huge running list of projects to complete for Christmas gifts this year. It was so much fun crossing each completed item off the list. There was only one (rather intense and tedious) project that had to be put off to wait for gifting it another time so that everything else could be accomplished. A story for another post. My dear sister-in-law encourages my love of crafting.*. Each hat became its own creation with many on-the-fly modifications, so I hav...
