Lucky in this Town. An accounting of our family journey toward opening The School of Rock in Oak Park, IL. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Blogging is Like Dieting. Just like a diet. You announce your good intentions, tell all of your friends, bore everyone with the details and then fall off the wagon. This is really pretty boring reading, isn't it? Tomorrow, we meet with our architect to talk about the buildout, the overall building design and the exterior finishes. I can't wait! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

For those of you who are not part of the School of Rock family and who may be wondering exactly what this is all about. I love the line, "For kids, it's like dream world they created in their head, that actually exists in real life.". William at Grandpa Renzulli's last summer. Monday, November 7, 2011. Lucky in this Town. An accounting of our family journey toward opening The School of Rock in Oak Park, IL. Saturday, December 17, 2011. For the very few people who read this blog, my sincere apologies for not posting more often. I don't have a clever theme or idea for this post (but as I am writing this, I did just think of an idea for my next post - think, rock and roll design ideas). So, this one will have to be a "straight up," as Abigail would say, School of Rock update. Friday, December 2, 2011.

Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato. How to get back in shape when you are getting older every day. Thursday, December 27, 2012. Not Wind nor Rain nor. Christmas dinner will keep me from my training regimen for the Seattle Rock and Roll Half Marathon in June 2013. Wellto be perfectly honest I did take 3 weeks off from training for various less than adequate reasons, but I am back on track now. Now I need to get my diet in check and I should be in shape in plenty of time for June 2nd.

Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato. How to get back in shape when you are getting older every day. Friday, August 12, 2011. Now What Should I do? Now that I have the whole embolism thing behind me what should I do to keep in shape? A friend loaned me a bike that I can use - or buy if I like it well enough. I did ride it one day and nearly killed myself. I ride like a little kid who just had the training wheels taken off! I know, I know! Have a great weekend everyone! Tuesday, August 9, 2011. I was ...

Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato. How to get back in shape when you are getting older every day. Friday, November 19, 2010. Now I am just waiting for my Doc to call in the prescription to a company that supplies durable medical goods and I can get started being a "hose head". I don't care - I just want to feel better and have more energy. That will help me get back on a good exercise schedule too. Stay tuned for more exciting details. Happy Turkey Day everyone! Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato. How to get back in shape when you are getting older every day. Wednesday, June 23, 2010. My Options after review of the MRI findings. 2 A slighting more extensive arthroscopic surgery. The 2nd option would entail crutches and then a big straight knee brace for about 12 weeks. I should be able to drive myself, but going up and down stairs will be difficult at best. The cool thing is that they gave me a CD with my MRI images! Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato.

Confessions of a Recovering Couch Potato. How to get back in shape when you are getting older every day. Saturday, September 25, 2010. This week was very tiring. I had 3 different Doctor's appointments on 3 different days.and I still had my head cold. We also had a very stressful business meeting in the office on Friday, which had everyone on edge. My knee is feeling so much better in the last few days, but my surgeon would have liked to see my recovery a little bit further along. But.I missed on...Hopef...

Lucky in this Town. An accounting of our family journey toward opening The School of Rock in Oak Park, IL. Saturday, November 26, 2011. To quote my 11-year-old son, "What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force? William at Grandpa Renzulli's last summer. Those words pretty much sum up how I feel right now. I have not been posting because we are in the murky, offer, pre-negotiation stage. Things are starting to happen and it would not be appropriate for me to play it out here.
