Zest of one lemon. 1 teaspoon of salt. 4 tablespoons unsalted butter-melted. 1/2 cup milk (I use 2%). Juice of 1 lemon. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or spray a large, glass pie plate (mine: 11.5-inches). In a large bowl combine: flour, lemon zest, sugar and salt. Whisk together until well-blended. Pour the batter over the sliced pears. Bake until the batter is set in the middle.
