Poland Family: February 2012
http://spyonthepolands.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wyatt is 1 years old! My baby is 1! It's amazing how the year passes and how much he grows and learns! Wyatt started taking 3-4 steps alone at Christmas and can now make it 10-12 steps. He thinks he can walk downstairs and climb anything he can get his leg on. He says 'Mama,' 'Dada,' 'Nana' (banana), and signs milk for just about anything he wants. His face lights up when I mention 'outside.' He loves, loves music and will dance away! I was quite happy with how the cake turned out! We love you Wyatt!

Poland Family: April 2012

The Easter Bunny came while the boys were in the bathtub so that's why they are just in underwear/diaper (we were lucky to get Eli's on; he was ready to run out naked! Eli got a kite for Easter but the wind was quite slow so the boys enjoyed chasing Ryan around trying to get it in the air. Oh, and here is a picture of Eli's sun-burned face he got skiing recently- more pictures to come. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Food, food, food. Who we spy on. Mullen: Family of Five. Live Laugh. Happy Halloween - Trunk'n'Treat. Yearly trunk or treat at the church. We went for the Toy Story theme- Buzz, Jesse, and an alien. I made Wyatt's alien hat- which for someone who does not sew like me it is really saying something! I have to say I am pleased with how it turned out- but I have had my fill of sewing for the next year or so. Eli was too over-stimulated to say 'trick or treat' but he was not shy in reaching for the candy. Served an LDS Mission to California from April 1940 - March 1942. Surviv...

Poland Family: Food, food, food
http://spyonthepolands.blogspot.com/p/food-food-food.html
Food, food, food. Through a series of several events, Ryan and I decided we need to eat healthier. One way we hope to achieve this is to incorporate more plant based meals into our diet. Now I am not saying we are switching over to the Vegan world completely; for now. We hope to 'eat meat sparingly' and find new fun recipes that are not based on. Chicken, fish, beef, etc. Our goal is one new recipe a week for the year. And gradually incorporate about 3-4 meals per week. And if they will be keepers or not.

Thanksgiving, Marathon, Zions, Christmas. Baby's first Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a hit! Last November I did my first full marathon. It was tough. 1) Start at your own pace- don't try to keep up with friends who are much faster for you, even for only 3 miles. The week of the race, the night before and even wake early to eat more. (Drinking water is included with this.). 3) Even if your body says eat at 6 miles but that wasn't in the plan, do it! There is more food along the course. No snow but very cold!

Poland Family: December 2012
http://spyonthepolands.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Obviously I have taken a .long. hiatus from blogging. Yes, we have been busy. But no more than usual. It's just how the past few months have been. So I'll sum up over the next while. We have loved being in our new house for Christmas (especially since the past 2 holiday seasons were spent moving)! We love having a beautiful white Christmas just outside our doorstep. But prior to the snow this week. The boys playing in the backyard. We feel so lucky and blessed this holiday season! Food, food, food.

Poland Family: Camping Diamond Fork
http://spyonthepolands.blogspot.com/2012/07/camping-diamond-fork.html
Lots of dirt and water play! The boys had a blast! One scary moment at the river when Eli fell head first into the river. It was only a foot or two deep but still slippery. We got him out ok but not before his face got several cuts and bruises. Poor kid looked quite beat up for a couple of weeks afterward. We attempted hiking to some hot springs but got a little lost so we will have to try again another day. The mountains and weather were beautiful were beautiful! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
