Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Taking time off, for a good reason. As the subject states, I will be taking some time off of writing and blogging. I haven't given up on becoming a published author someday, there have just been some changes in my daily life that need to be addressed first. Right now there simply isn't enough time or free space in my brain to accomplish everything and my family has to come first. This past week, my two-year old son was diagnosed with autism. Maybe it's just wishful thinking.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Here I am again! I've had a pretty good writing week, in my opinion at least. First, I finished my short story for The Pen and Muse Romance Short Story Contest. As in, it's done! Written, edited, proofread. D.O.N.E. done! I was very fortunate to happen across a post on The Writer's Beat forum where someone volunteered to do free proofreading. I send my 3300 word story off to Aspen. Overall, I would say that this was an awesome experience for me and I would definitely recommend.

Sunday, 5 October 2008. This is our pride and joy. We owned the car in the 70s and 80s and my husband competed in hillclimbs and sprints in the North West of England. Following a successful period it was time to get something faster and we bought a Mallock U2 single seater clubman car. The car in competition on the Isle of Man in the 70s. After months of badgering we eventually sold the car to a young. Student friend and thought that was the last we would see of her. Home again and looking very poorly.
