http://www.glorioustreats.com/2015/04/magnolia-bakery-banana-pudding.html
Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding. Magnolia Bakery in New York City might deserve credit as one of the bakeries that started the cupcake craze, but one of their most popular bakery items is not a cupcake… it’s banana pudding! Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding is one of my favorite treats of all time! Creamy, fluffy pudding, fresh banana and simple vanilla cookies combine to create a dessert that is so much more than the sum of it’s parts! Magnolia Bakery Banana Pudding is sweet and fluffy (not as thick as regu...

Socks!!!!! | 9 Acre Farm
https://9acrefarm.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/socks
Learning to Be a Farmers Wife. September 6, 2012. What, pray tell, do you suppose socks have to do with a gardening blog? Well, think about it. This morning as I stepped out on the deck with my coffee to peruse my beautiful yard and gardens (a morning habit by the way) I happened to look down and realized I had on a pair of socks. In all reality I should have had this thought on Monday as I was canning potatoes and had on a sweatshirt and the windows were closed in the house. Hmmmmm! And as I furiously t...

Learning to Be a Farmers Wife. February 27, 2014. Life has taken us on a crazy course the last 4 years and it seems as if we have been forsaken. That is not the case at all we know, but, sometimes it is hard to walk through the wilderness. Those of you who know me know that I staunchly defend the wilderness as a place of growth. For us it has held true over and over. Hah………….what’s that tell you! So to sum it up – change is happening. I am adapting. What does tomorrow look like? From → Christianity.

Lines and Colors : a blog about drawing, painting, illustration, comics, concept art and other visual arts. Drawing is the artist's most direct and spontaneous expression, a species of writing: it reveals, better than does painting, his true personality. The artist's world is limitless. It can be found anywhere, far from where he lives or a few feet away. It is always on his doorstep. Monday, January 19, 2015. He will often juxtapose his glass containers against the covers of books, particularly art book...

Brownie Strawberry S’mores. S’mores might be one of those classic pairings you’re not supposed to mess with… but I’m pretty sure I just came up with a combo that’s even better than the original! This Brownie Strawberry S’mores could be considered the grown up version of the original campfire treat. We recently purchased a backyard fire pit and we’ve been enjoying s’mores most every weekend. In fact my girls can’t seem to get enough! Needless to say, when Campfire Marshmallows. Are perfect for roasting!

Links & Friends. Talking to our sweet au pair Amanda. She was eighteen, full of promise, and we had a little chat about dreams and aspirations. We corresponded recently and she reminded me of our conversation, how I had mentioned my thought of moving to the country one day and perhaps do something with all my knowledge on food. Maybe a book someday. I associate mussels with two places, forever stored in my food memory. ‘ Les Vapeurs. In Trouville for some delicious moules marinières (and à la crème!

Sweet, salty, crispy, chewy… these amazing Salted Butterscotch Cookies will blow your mind! When I recently created some luscious Coconut Cut Out Cookies. I wanted to play around with fillings or toppings to compliment the toasted coconut flavor. Certainly, chocolate is always a good choice with coconut, but I also really love caramel and butterscotch flavors with coconut! And in my mind, caramel is not quite complete with a bit of salt… so I knew the flavors I wanted to combine! And I’d be tempted...

Music Note Decorated Cookies. You don’t need to have any musical talent to make some “sweet” music with these Music Note Decorated Cookies! This week my younger daughter and I both had a piano recital. There were 10 students ages 5-13 who performed, and then one 37 year old student… that would be me! And let me assure you, I was not the most advance student of the group! This set was inspired by these perfect music cookies from Bee In Our Bonnet.
