Winging it by faith, risking it all for Him. August 22, 2014. If you don’t believe in God you have my sympathies. Because He is the DEFINITION of AWESOME. A mere week ago I was in the depth of something so hard I could not see a way out. I pleaded with you all for your prayers. I was inundated with words of encouragement and prayers. I felt those prayers in my spirit. I was no longer on the brink of depression, yet my situation remained the same. They say it is darkest before the dawn. I get it now.

Some may not believe me, some may question me, but in my heart of hearts I know it was God. I am hesitant to even write this because even as I am confident, I always shy away from throwing God’s name on things for fear of using His name in vain. I never want to claim His Word carelessly or recklessly. But I know He spoke to me. It was not what I thought. I thought I knew.

I have heard and read so many differing opinions on this I think my eyes are going to start bleeding soon. There are a lot of emotions running wild. I understand why. I do. Politics then has had little appeal to me, add in all the mud-slinging and the lying, and my distaste for it has only grown. That’s what we want, right?
