Thursday, January 21, 2010. Pencil Crayon and Pen 2010. Lately I've been getting into doing some pieces with pencil crayons, wanting to add colour to things I typically do in black and white. Probably the most exciting part for me right now though is experimenting a bit and pushing or developing my style, working with the lines and shape and form. I was really lovin' the colour scheme between the three, I like to mix up colours with figures, doing people in funky colour combos or in combination with the background and this one was extra fun that way because the colour scheme also worked out for this diver with the background of the sky behind her and the sun highlighting her. I had a lot of fun doing this second piece with india ink, I love the medium and the lines are getting a lot closer to what I'm trying to do.
