Lynne's Days: March 2011
http://josordoni.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The day to day daze of life in the slow lane. Saturday, March 19, 2011. A Poem for March. Oh it is a while since I felt like writing other than about recipes and food. But I was sitting in the car the other day, thinking about the #haikugame from Twitter, and tapping out syllables on the steering wheel. I love haiku, they have a strict structure and a lovely internal rhythm. So here is what came to me as I was driving along, on a bright March morning. The break of the season. Thick frozen grey emotions.

Lynne's Days: July 2008
http://josordoni.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
The day to day daze of life in the slow lane. Monday, July 07, 2008. The Sourdough Saga - the disaster continues. Oh woe is me. The 2nd attempt has been nearly (not quite as the result is at least partly edible) as disastrous as the first. However, for brick now read pancake. I swear I followed the instructions - sort of. But I ran out of time, so I stuck the whole lot in the fridge overnight - see left how it came out. I thought it looked alright. Links to this post. Thursday, July 03, 2008. If I can ge...

Lynne's Days: Autumn #braindetox halfwaythrough Week Two
http://josordoni.blogspot.com/2013/10/autumn-braindetox-halfwaythrough-week.html
The day to day daze of life in the slow lane. Tuesday, October 01, 2013. Autumn #braindetox halfwaythrough Week Two. I have a highly toxic brain. I have to accept this I think, and to appreciate that this #braindetox will take a lot more than I thought. Week one started last Sunday, and after four days I was in total meltdown. The overheated reactor was sinking into the surrounding brain, and I was really not doing well. Three Mile Island. Not Chernobyl. Even I am not that toxic. People can still...Serie...

Northcote Brewery's Blog. A small brewery in the making. Nearly time to brew… and a few setbacks. Northcote Brewery is coming. September 23, 2010. Our first brewing vessels. Well, as most of you know, Adam and I have been dreaming about a brewery for some time now. It started as a conversation, you know one of those pipe dreams that snow-balled. It turned from a ‘wouldn’t it be fab to do something like that one day’ to a ‘why shouldn’t we? 8217; And well, today it is fast becoming reality. I am just lear...

With knife and fork. A blog mostly about food. Monday, 27 July 2009. Feeling flowery in veggie heaven. There loads of potatoes, beans and courgettes hiding under the kale. So what I have I done with the veg so far? I simply tore the flowers and tossed them with the rest of the salad (rocket, basil, lollo rosso, tomato, c...

With knife and fork....: Boxed in
http://withknifeandfork.blogspot.com/2009/07/boxed-in.html
With knife and fork. A blog mostly about food. Friday, 24 July 2009. About a month ago I was contacted by the PR firm for Abel and Cole. Asking if I’d like to try one of their veg boxes for free, well in exchange for doing a review of it on my blog, after all nothing is truly free; although I figured they’d have a hard time trying to enforce the contract if I just scoffed the food then did nothing. So in the spirit of this here is my position:. But now I was being offered the chance to try it for free!

With knife and fork....: Back of the fridge pasta
http://withknifeandfork.blogspot.com/2009/06/back-of-fridge-pasta.html
With knife and fork. A blog mostly about food. Wednesday, 10 June 2009. Back of the fridge pasta. Yesterday when I was catching up with posts on a few of my favourite blogs I spotted a pasta blogging event that Mangocheeks at Allotment2Kitchen. Was taking part in. So I followed the links and ended up at Presto Pasta Nights. Which this week (PPN #117) is hosted by Katie at Thyme for Cooking. On Monday the fridge yielded:. Some cooked garden peas and new potatoes leftover from dinner the night before.
