A premier mid-distance sled dog race spanning 65 miles through northern Minnesotas State Trail system. To present an annual sled dog race. Conducive to generating tourism and promoting education, that follows the spirit and proud history of the working sled dog in Northeastern Minnesota. Sixty (60) mushers, four-hundred (400) sled dogs from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota and Canada.
