Hazards on the Horizon. Need A CT Scan? Need A CT Scan? Ionizing radiation has many practical uses in medicine, but if used improperly, can cause genetic damage and cancer. We are reminded by new research to keep our total lifetime exposure to 45 units or less. Women of a Certain Age. The kids are gone, the dog is dead, what do I do now? What I like about this one is the insertion of the red bench as a table. By painting the bench red and choosing red accents through the pillows, candles, and fern pot, theyve created a dynamic effect. Again, notice the accent colors.
