Wondering who, what, where, when, how and why…. May 1, 2013. The sky really is that colour – right now – I’m still sitting here looking at it from my window. I can remember some pretty chilly May Days, but ones like this must be what all nature worshippers relish. Even I feel like sticking daisies in my hair and having a good skip about. The kids aren't alright. I’d made a few reluctant attempts at starting to learn Korean. The sounds were totally alien, I struggled to get my mouth around them, and of course there would be no familiar Romantic base to hang the grammar upon. The thought of struggling so much with communication was weighing on me a little But then I got a call out of nowhere, offering me a job in Seville. Spain I could abandon the Korean completely! Pink for a. boy? An unspoken goal has been reached. The hand-made stuff has become everyday rather than 'Sunday-best'. My children wear hand-made sweaters every single day, I wrap a hand-made shawl. Round my shoulders while studying, and my labour-of-love blanket. Over my knees in the evenings. And then the Dragon Baby grew. Again. So I guess I'll still be knitting a while yet.
