The Tale of Wags: December 2010
http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Saturday, December 25, 2010. Well considered gifts and merry Christmas. A well considered gift for the man who needs to pound things of various sizes. And at this weight (16lb), I have an excuse to buy another slightly smaller one (maybe a 10lb-er) for 'light duty' applications. The reason I ended up with a gift like this is due to the Amazon Wish List. God rest ye merry gentlemen,. Let nothing you dismay,. Remember Christ our Savior.

http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-have-such-awful-drive-to-work-these.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Sunday, July 3, 2011. I have such an awful drive to work these days. View on Western Ridge Road, Palermo, ME. Getting the Corinthian ready to roll. I was able to fill the tire up and pop the ratchet strap off. This was the biggest tire on which I've ever tried this trick. I hope it will work on a full size car tire some day. I have a boat for sale. Off to the family barbecue in Mass. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Tale of Wags: A week of Saturdays.
http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2012/05/week-of-saturdays.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Thursday, May 10, 2012. A week of Saturdays. In the self-employed construction world, we often say its feast or famine. When its feast, you could work 14 hours per day every day, just wanting a day off. When its famine, its hard to know what to do with yourself after week after week of nothing. Burn the Econoline-Van-Sized brush pile on a rainy day/night. (check). Fix the generator that's been broken for a year (check).

The Tale of Wags: January 2011
http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Sunday, January 23, 2011. A particular affliction of some vehicle owners (myself included) is STS ( stuck truck syndrome. From what I understand, it runs in families, so if I have it, my brother is also at risk whether he has manifested symptoms yet or not. In our case, my brother manifested symptoms around the same time I did, though he was in snow, and I was in mud at the time. Maybe if I attach the hook here. Said 'friend with big tr...

The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Turn and face the strain). Don't want to be a richer man. Turn and face the strain). Just gonna have to be a different man. Time may change me. But I can't trace time. Bowie didn't know how right he was. Or maybe he did. At least in the chorus. KT still hasn't heard about whether she'll have a job at the end of June. I sold the motorcycle. I'm selling the boat and the big truck. Today is a good day to start.

http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-fool.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Friday, April 1, 2011. 8 to 10 inches of heavy wet snow and I have to go plow it. Looks like I'm the April Fool. Things were just starting to turn around into some kind of spring mudseason, complete with deep ruts and KT said she saw a black fly the other day. Black fly? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Tale of Wags: In a week.
http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2011/05/in-week.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Sunday, May 15, 2011. Sometimes it feels like you don't get anything done in a week, and other times, it all falls into place and you get a lot done. This week Paul. Finished Cathance River Low-Back Barstools waiting for delivery. I guess I need a muffler. My car was starting to sound like the Fast and the Furious. Not bad for $140 on Craigslist. An army of Cathance River Side Chairs awaits our command ( or the finish guy ). With a few ...

The Tale of Wags: June 2011
http://thetaleofwags.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Tale of Wags. To and fro. Hither and thither. Whence and Thence. Saturday, June 18, 2011. After leaving Pittsburgh, we dashed over to Milwaukee, via Grays Lake, IL. We had a nice visit with my brother Dan and his wife Carrie and Alex, Ben, Josh and Zoe. Later we ended up staying with my other brother Tim. Doing mental math at midnight in the Riverwest neighborhood in Milwaukee with brother Tim. We were trying to get an idea of how big a 10,000 gallon tank would be. So, we're at Memorial Day, and we d...
