Motor Vehicle / Boat Registrations. Automobile, truck, and trailer registration and title transfers are done in our office. Applications for handicap parking are available in our office. When these are completed by the doctor, they are returned to our office for issuance of handicap plates or placards. Wood County residents can renew their vehicle registration online at www.texasonline.com. We have three substations for the same transactions as shown above. They are in Mineola, Hawkins and Winnsboro.

If you have an over 65 or DP exemption you may qualify for a Quarter Pay. The payment is divided into four equal payments . The First payment MUST be made by Jan. 31. Wood County was organized on February 12, 1820, when the legislature carved 14 counties from the lands purchased from the Wyandot, Seneca, Delaware, Shawnee, Potawatomi, Ottawa, and Chippewa tribes as a result of the Lower Maumee Treaty. Of September 28, 1817. In May 1822, the Commissioners designated Perrysburg as the first County Seat. It remained so until 1868 when the Seat of Justice was moved to Bowling Green. Wood County was named for Colonel Eleazor D. Wood. Wood County has nineteen townships.
