A little irreverent: March 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2014. We made it on the plane. This is a really charming hotel. Wow, we are right downtown. I think I slept on a yoga mat, that bed is hard. GINGER AT THE BEACH! There is nothing wrong with applying sunscreen with a butter knife. It's nice to spend time with that one guy I live with, what's his name again? I'm still recovering from jet lag. :). I thought I was dreaming, but it was real life. I'm still not over the euphoria of my shark dive. Arrrrgh, let's explore the pirate museum.

A little irreverent: Happy November
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014/11/happy-november.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. This statement doesn't have anything to do with the rest of this post, but I'm so excited about it, I wanted to share it first. I'm going skydiving this Friday. Okay, now I can move on. I have a lot of stray quotes and conversations I want to share. Carry on and enjoy, if you'd like. (Oh, and I didn't proofread, again.). Watch out for the Whomping Willow. On the way to Hogwarts. O - "DAAAAAAD, I HATE bacon! L - "Who hates bacon? Where did you come from? O - "I love you! LT - "W...

A little irreverent: May 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Fieldwork, part 2 and then some. Our second fieldwork day was at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. We took a nice and LONG bus ride, SCHOOL bus ride to DC. It's a good thing the air conditioning worked, meaning all of the windows could open. Ha ha ha. The students have been learning and researching about butterflies, and there just happens to be a butterfly exhibit at the museum. How perfect! Well, she got a nice shot of the fan. A holding a caterpillar. O contemplating, o...

A little irreverent: October 2014
http://alittleirreverent.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2014. A little bit Savage and a lot COLD. Here we are at the starting line. On a side note, I have a pretty pathetic camera and not only is it slow, but it pooped out shortly after we started. Before the next race in May, I am most definitely getting a different one. The actual name is really vulgar so I’ve renamed it for this post.). I was trying to get an awesome shot of the. Huge clamp used to hold the boards together,. And then Helen decided to jump in. It totally ruined my shot.

Kate&Jake: August 2013
http://kateandthelexicon.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 14, 2013. So we went to Washington with our married friends, and spent basically every minute of an entire week with them, and have zero pictures with them. So just use your imagination. Look! It's a baby seal! These are the two bridges that replaced the one that blew down in 1940 (Galloping Gertie http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Those trees in the background? Here we are walking on the bridge shown previously. We threw rocks off the side and Jake timed the fall and then calculated th...

Kate&Jake: Some Things
http://kateandthelexicon.blogspot.com/2015/05/some-things.html
Monday, May 11, 2015. So I'm getting pretty stoked to move to Colorado in August. I'm excessively nostalgic though, so I'm already gearing up to feel sentimental. Here's a short list of things that I will miss and certainly will NOT miss about Rexburg. Things I Will Miss. Being neighbors with Jake's sister, and having his other sister and my cousins only a few blocks away. Having Sunday dinners with Jake's parents. Go to the dentist. Cheap housing. Oh baby, will it hurt to pay actual housing prices.

The Granquist Files: July 2011
http://granquist.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 27, 2011. It has been forever since I've written anything mostly because 1) I have children that see me on the computer and think they need a turn and 2) I just have not had any motivation to write. I've been getting into the bad habit of not doing things when I don't feel like doing them, which is a BAD habit to get into. Here is to more simple, organized, happy living. The Granquist Files: First Day of School
http://granquist.blogspot.com/2011/10/frist-day-of-school.html
Wednesday, August 31, 2011. First Day of School. The first day of school came early this year as the kids went back on the 22nd of August. I have NO complaints but the kids did. Holly is in the First Grade this year and her teacher is Mrs. Pope. She seems to like her but was way more excited about being able to go to school for the whole day and even have lunch at school. Of course for Holly everything had to be pink so she got a pink lunch bag and back pack. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tales From Our Wonderful One-Acre Farm: Dang it.
http://wonderfuloneacrefarm.blogspot.com/2010/12/dang-it.html
Tales From Our Wonderful One-Acre Farm. Baby, it's cold outside. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. I haf a head cowd. I mean: I have a head cold. This is no bueno. I am a receptionist. My job is to talk to people. I lost my voice. How am I supposed to sound happy when I can barely sound alive? Oh dear. What if they think I'm a weird old lady who's been smoking for the past 10 years? Or what if they think I'm a creepy dude with a girl name? They won't want to come in and meet me. And I have a date tomorrow.
