Saturday, April 23, 2011. This is music performance week. Today was Hannah's first piano recital. She played a piece called Tranquility Bay by Peter Jancewicz. She did an excellent job! Thursday, April 21, 2011. It is spring music program time! At our school, the programs are just each individual class performances. After the performance, Hannah's teacher invited us into the classroom to see the hats that they made. Here is Hannah and her hat. Good Things Come in Small Packages. One Big Happy Family.

Sunday, December 27, 2009. Here is the girls Christmas program. The exciting part of the Christmas program this year was that we only had to go to one! Both girls are now in the same school and had the same program. The interesting part is that it is during the school day. It worked out best for me to go at 9:30 and Ed at 12:45! Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Last week, Hannah's class put on a musical for the families. It was about friendship. Hannah has a speaking part in the first video. The last video she does a solo. The music teacher said that the speaking parts were not optional, however, singning solos were. That is something she has always enjoyed doing.singing. I am glad she had this opportunity. Saturday, September 24, 2011. I am having a hard time editing this post. Maybe it has been too long. So, I will give a synopsis of our summer and let the pictures do the talking! This summer we decided to embark on a new hobby.letterboxing. Little treasure boxes are placed somewhere in nature and you get to go and find them. Clues are given on the internet (letterboxing.org) and away you go. They are all over the world. Here we found a letterbox near Mt. Rushmore. Enjoy the pictures :).
