東アジア域の黄砂・大気汚染物質分布予測

Chemical weather FORecasting System). このページでは、九州大学応用力学研究所(RIAM)の鵜野伊津志教授らが開発した化学天気予報システム(CFORS) によって予測されたアジア域における黄砂や大気汚染物質の推定分布を表示しています。 CFORSは気象庁から提供される大気の温度や風などの予測情報、人工衛星などから推定された地表面の状態、統計調査などにより求められた汚染排出源分布に関する情報などを利用して、大気中のエアロゾル(黄砂や大気汚染粒子)あるいは微量気体(炭化水素など)の3次元分布を計算機によって数値的に予報します。 2007年末にサーバーをIntel Xeon X5355(2.66GHz) QuadCore x2搭載マシンへと更新し、モデルの解像度が上がりました(水平40kmメッシュ、鉛直40層)。なお本サイトに掲載された内容の利用調査研究報道等に関しては、国立環境研究所地域環境研究センター清水厚までお問い合わせ下さい。
