My culinary experiments . Nov 23, 2010. Last month i went to this restaurant were they serve awesome dosa and idli. My hubby is a big fan of their chocolate dosa, which i am planning to reproduce very shortly. Anyway i tried this cheese dosa and it was very nice. So i wanted to try it at home. Advantage is you can have it any time u want! The cheese dosa turned out very nice. Pity my hubby is not into cheese. It is very simple to make. All you need is. Capsicum - 1 big (sliced). Onion - 1 big (sliced).

My culinary experiments . Nov 18, 2010. SHAHI TUKDA / DOUBLE KA MEETA. Double ka meeta is one of the special delicacy of hyderabad. First time when i had this dish in a restaurant i was really impressed with the taste. Next thing i know, i am trying to make it at home. I found the shahi tukda recipe in many places which is very similar to the double ka meeta. I think the only difference is that the double ka meeta is served with bread slices crumbled and shahi tukda has a definite shape. Milk - 1 liter.

My culinary experiments . Jun 3, 2010. Sweet corn kernels - 1 cup. Butter - 1 teaspoon. Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons. Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon(optional). Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon. Salt - if required. Cook fresh sweet corn kernels. Add butter, chat masala, pepper powder and lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients nicely. My culinary experiments . Nov 18, 2009. BADAM HALU (ALMOND MILK). Milk - 1 glass. Sugar - 2 teaspoons. Cardamom powder - a pinch. Saffron - few strands. Soak almond overnight. Peel and make a fine paste. Boil milk and add the almond paste to it. Boil it for 5 minutes on low flame. Add sugar, cardamom and saffron to the boiling water. Stir for a couple of minutes. My culinary experiments . Aug 30, 2011. After the whole wheat, i wanted to try out a plain white bread just to see how it comes out at home. I am really happy with the result. The bread was beautiful (if u call food beautiful! I think ii will try out the mixture of plain flour and whole wheat next ti. Me Don't want to make this white bread often as i am sold out on the healthy eating concept ;) and want to follow a good diet as much as possible. Warm water - 1/2 cup(40-42 degree). Plain flour - 2 cups.

My culinary experiments . Sep 30, 2010. IDLI IN BANANA AND JACKFRUIT LEAVES). Rice (dosa variety) - 2 1/2 cups. Rava - 2 cups. Split black gram (Urad dal) - 1 cup. Banana and Jackfruit leaves for making idli. Soak urad dal for 8-10 hours. Wash soak rice for 15 minutes. Drain and spread it on a clean cloth for 20 minutes. Run it in a mixer to make rava.
