Monday, May 9, 2011. Today was a gorgeous sunny day. Likely the best day we have had so far on the tour. We started our day at a brand new school, Northumberland Hills Public School. This school is new, and amazing. It's big, it's bright and the kids were excited to see us. The pedals. It was a funny way to start the day, but I didn't know then, was it wasn't going to be the only time I found myself on the ground today! Thursday, May 5, 2011. We started our day off in Havelock this morning. The weather was pretty nice and the students were out in full force. It's always motivation when I see the kids have taken the time to make posters and signs welcoming the team to their school. As the kids lined up to greet us it was one poster after another. Made from those donations! Not only did we have the usual head shaves and ice cream eating contest's, but we also watched as a few teachers got slammed with whip cream pies!

Friday, May 6, 2011. 2011 MidLife Crisis Concert. Tonight was an amazing event. Peterborough's very own musicians F.O.G, Aaron MacMillan, and MidLife Crisis took to the stage to entertain about 400 people at The Junction. The floor shook and the bass boomed as the bands rocked the place! A percentage of the proceeds from ticket sales went to Pedal For Hope. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Today we started in Norwood where we rolled into Norwood District P.S at 9am. The kids were lined up as we arrived and we could hear them cheering even over the sound of the police sirens. It was a great atmosphere in the gym and the show was a huge hit. We shaved some heads and cut a few ponies and at the end of the assembly the students presented Pedal For Hope with a cheque for over $2700.00. Awesome work team! Wednesday, May 11, 2011. After we wrapped up our last school today we drove back to Peterborough to cause havoc for a bunch of employees at McDonalds one store at a time.
