Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Friday, December 28, 2012. In the veil of darkness. As we race to beat the setting sun on this chilly winter's eve, we were able to get 3 new beauties into the ground of our Food Forest/subUrban Garden. Amanda has been wanting to add a Donut Peach to our Stone fruit collection for a while, and she got her wish today! And to continue our berry collection, we added Loganberry and Youngberry to the front bank. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. No Knead Artisan Bread. Okay, maybe so...

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive: June 2011

http://wytchwoodfarms.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Raw Chocolate Coconut Yum Balls! Wednesday, June 15, 2011. We follow what I like to call the 3 E's of Home Farming, or just E3. 1)Enjoyable - meaning if it is something you love growing. 2)Easy - So many foods are easy to grow. 3)Expensive - If it cost $ in the store, then grow it at home! I also highly recommend. Monday, June 13, 2011. Roasted Beets under a Full Moon. Need I say anything more. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to the Farm.

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Hot shredded chicken and cranberries in a honey garlic vinaigrette over mixed fresh greens. YUM! The pic is a bit blurry, sorry! Tuesday, May 3, 2011. I new meaning to Victory Gardens. I am declaring Victory! I think we have managed to over-plant, over-coffee ground, out-mulch the snails! I was determined not to use toxins of any kind, and I believe we won. Persistent though they were for some time, their numbers are dwindling. Welcome to the Farm.

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive: February 2012

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Wednesday, February 8, 2012. As the years have gone by, the road seems to have turned from progressing forward, to progressing backwards. Having spent the majority of my adult life in healthcare, I was now taking control of my family's health by looking back to the remedies of old. I was rethinking the way we looked at medicine, and soon I would take a good look at the foundation of our healthcare. our food. Every year we learn new methods and add to our little home farm.

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive: July 2012

http://wytchwoodfarms.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Wednesday, July 18, 2012. No Knead Artisan Bread. We posted this on our Plan To Thrive facebook page in May, but we love it and think it should be here as well. No need to spend extra money on artisan breads when it's so simple to make your own! Please check out this blog. http:/ theitaliandishblog.com/imported-20090913150324/2010/2/26/amazing-artisan-bread-for-40-cents-a-loaf-no-kneading-no-fus.html. I am fairly certain we have given away more than we have consumed.

Wytchwood Farms - Plan to Thrive. Monday, June 4, 2012. Week 4 - Video-polooza. Last week totally got away from me! I thought that this week I would share some videos that may spark some ideas and give you a bit of inspiration. This is about 30 min long, but pretty interesting ideas for your Go-Bag. It's worth checking out! A quick bit about keeping things handy! Yet another reason why living prepared is just smart! I will be putting together another post for this week, to further discuss these topics!

Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Tam Lin - The Faery Host by Stephanie Pui-Mun Law. Tam Lin - The Faery Host". This is a luminous interpretation of a very old and well-told ballad that shows up often with many variations. It may be one of the most heavily re-told and illustrated ballads in the Western world and the bravado Stephanie shows in talking this topic on is very refreshing. Stephanie includes a deep look into the content of the ballad in her single breath-taking illustration. Enjoy! Summary of Tam Lin.

Thursday, October 28, 2010. Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. A sleeply little village on the edge of the Oacific ocean? A dear friend picked this book up at a yard sale, read it and handed it me, saying “ here’s something you don’t read every day! It had me laughing out loud and wondering what kind of a extravagant author would invent such a story. Never having read Christopher Moore before, I was in for a really exciting ride. Where to see us. Wytchwood Morris are a mixed side of men and women based in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire. We perform both traditional and self penned dances within the Welsh Border, Molly and Cotswold traditions. Folklore, mythology and local legend has a large influence on our style and repertoire . Our self penned dances cover subjects such as the legend of John Barleycorn and The Witch Hunts of East Anglia (see our dance lists below). STILL ON THE LOOK OUT FOR MORE MUSICIANS!
