Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Las Vegas Speedway and Santa. During Thanksgiving break, we decided to head on over to the Las Vegas Speedway for the Glittering Lights display. They line the raceway with lights (about 2.5 miles) and you can just stay in your car and drive through the display. Then, at the end, Santa is waiting for the kids. It was a fun experience. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. Christmas at Bass Pro Shops. This past weekend, we took a little drive down to Bass Pro Shops to see Santa and hang out in their cool craft area. They had coloring sheets, letters to Santa, and ornaments for the kids to do. There was this GINORMOUS catfish in their fresh water tank. The girls were a little intimidated.). Isn't this guy so cute? I seriously love him.). Jocey was waiting in line to see Santa, thinking hard about what she was going to ask him for.).
