FAQ Questions and Answers. Am I able to choose the school I volunteer in? We have a pre-selected list of schools where we place volunteers. In 2016 these schools were all on the Cape Flats. We work with grades 1-4 in the primary schools, and grades 8-10 in the high schools. Volunteers can indicate a preference but you cannot choose where you work. Will I receive training before starting? You will also receive tutoring materials to use in the schools. What is the difference between teaching and tutoring?
