Hey- look at me over on that hula girl’s blog. There’s a flickr group. Too, that I’ve just become aware of, for my TTV (through the viewfinder) class. Check out the lovely photos that other people took. I will upload all of my pictures soon. Photoshop has decided to die on my computer, so I’m not getting all the editing done that I want to. Hopefully a re-installation will bring it back to life and bring me back to work. Posted October 20, 2009 10:18 pm { 0 Comments. I Am Fuel, You Are Friends.

SAW 2009 pt. 1. I’m still spinning from the 4 days I spent in New Hampshire at Squam Art Workshops. I was inspired by so many beautiful people. I took three classes- Songwriting with Jonatha Brooke. A collage class called Making your Mark with Lisa Occhipinti. And a photography class called Through the Viewfinder with Andrea Jenkins. I learned something valuable in each class and I got the opportunity to unleash a whole lot of pent up creativity, too! Stuck in my head since the retreat. I’ve been g...

SAW 2009 pt. 2. Day 2 entailed much mess and spilling and stickiness and color! Not to mention, new friends and good conversations. I thought that since collage is what I usually do anyway, this day would just be like an open studio for me. It was actually much more than that. Lisa. Posted October 3, 2009 5:22 pm { 0 Comments. Craft Therapy: January 2012
http://crafttherapy.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Make time to make. Sunday, January 29, 2012. A sneak peek at some of new things I have been making lately. Hand stamped quotes on book pages. These are mounted on tiny canvases. New literary necklaces. Here is one from a Pride and Prejudice book. Wouldn't this be lovely for Valentine's Day? And literary quote note cards. I recently finished reading the Hunger Games series and thought that this quote from Mockingjay needed to be on a card. More to come soon! Hope to see you there! Make time to make.

Make time to make. Thursday, February 9, 2012. Our little piece of library history. I'm pretty excited to show you our newest piece of furniture. Isn't it amazing? It's a gorgeous, 60 drawer library card catalog! I am currently in the process of sorting my craft disaster into lots of organized drawers. The kids each get 1 drawer for themselves and they are very excited about this and keep shuffling things around to try to decide what to keep there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Craft Therapy: April 2011
http://crafttherapy.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Make time to make. Friday, April 1, 2011. Pretty little bobby pins made with itty bitty bits of text from classic and not so classic literature. Great one-of-a-kind gifts for bookish types. I started listing just a few pairs in my etsy shop. And there will be many more coming soon! I'm looking for suggestions on classic books that would make fun bobby pins. Something that you would recognize from just a tiny scrap of text or one word. If you have any suggestions, please do share! Lord of the rings.
