Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Grizzly Bear Family of Five. This sow(Grizzly Female) now has four cubs. It is believed that two of these cubs are adopted do to how rare it is for a sow to have more than two cubs. Grizzly bears can weigh up to 1,500lbs and can live up to 25 to 30 years. Remember to keep your distance it is recommended that you stay 100yards away from bears in Yellowstone NP. Hiking is a great why to see Yellowstone, but make sure you are prepared Mountain House Freeze-Dried Food.
