Monday, October 31, 2005. I went to the premiere of the 39th Tokyo Motor Show on the 22nd, and came back with almost three dozen brochures of luxury cars, concept cars, navigation systems and more cars I'll be driving in the near future, obviously! Cuz I don't know much about cars! Nissan's stall had the best acoustics. The stall was circular in shape and with its pillars and supports, reminded me of how Stone Hedge must have looked like new. So imagine Stonehedge. Now imagine a central stage in ...This ...

Annie's Travel Guide: June 2005
http://anniechlin.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Life is hard. One should work hard and play harder. Wednesday, June 22, 2005. I fitted into my ball dress which only cost 18GBP from ebay! I actually bought it last summer for trinity ball, but ended up too fat due to last minute binging during exams. Having restrained myself (a little) during the greece trip it's conforting that it fits :D. The picture says it all. We ate non stop until midnight, having queued up for 4 rounds of oyster and king prawns, one of hog roast, twice for burgers and steak! I am ...

Life is hard. One should work hard and play harder. Wednesday, October 12, 2005. Yes, I know it's pushing it classifying Bicester Village as a travel destination, but hey! I had fun :D. I have never really had a knack for girlie shopping - it requires attention to details, comparative skills and above all, patience. I on the other hand, would much prefer heading straight for the shop of choice and grab whatever is necessary. Oh well, just another incentive to diet to fit into the jeans at Bicester! The va...

Spent last wkend up in cam staying with denise. it was so good, not hectic but jus spent our time relaxing, going for coffee, cooking dinner, watching dvds etc. went to midsummer common for fireworks on sat night - it still amazes me how the whole cambridge population descends on this little bit of grass at 7.30 every Nov 5th! But it was actually quite a good display - better than i remembered! And i hope i always will! Posted by ellen @ 10:21 pm. TIME CRISIS II and you said yo...

mELLonjuice: Stop 1: LA
http://ellentsang.blogspot.com/2005/12/stop-1-la.html
Saturday, December 17, 2005. Just came back from 5 days in LA, staying with my aunt (an old school friend of my mum and dad) and her family. i'm now at ian's place at his uni, UC Davis. LA was really nice! I didnt actually go to downtown LA much, cos they stay south of the city, except to chinatown to eat. but they took me to Hollywood, which being the enthralled tourist that i was, was well exciting! We also went to disneyland - one of their nieces works there so she got us passes for free! The Kodak th...

Friday, December 30, 2005. Dec 17th - trip to Kinugawa-onsen [鬼怒川温泉] with my old university classmates. The last trip I've been on was quite a while ago, so I had high hopes for this one. And Yuka put in a lot of effort indeed to make it a great trip, well above my expectations. What did Kinugawa offer? This is one of the few I visited. Ps at one stage, there were 20 fully grown men in this. Imagine the proximity! Posted by Shunsaku Horiuchi at 12/30/2005. View my complete profile. We are such stuff.

Thursday, April 28, 2005. The pill of life? Heard on the radio one piece of interesting news (and it wasnt another election row, for a change! That scientists are in the process of developing a pill that prolongs your life for 30 years. they said sthg like u hav to start taking it in your thirties, and presumably you'd live til over 100 years old, but they're only at the mouse trials stage. hmm, how dodgy is that? Not sure if i can believe it would work. LIFE itself reduced down to a little pill! Althoug...
