Thursday, October 17, 2013. Afternoon at the Beach. This lovely little beach is about a five minute drive away. We met some friends there yesterday afternoon and spent a couple of hours just chilling. No swimming but exploring the super shallow water, looking for crabs and soaking it up. See that tiny spot way out there? That's the tall one! Our new kites flew so great.check out the online kite shop called Into the Wind! And the most amazing sunset! Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Aside from beaches, the Malta Aquarium has to be our most frequented place in Malta that we go as a family. It is solitude from winter gloom and a retreat from summer heat. It teaches. It relaxes. It amazes each of us in our own way. The playground keeps the kids thrilled, but so do the fish. I love that they are both so familiar and at home at the aquarium.
