York Community Energy is an independent, volunteer-run charity aiming to set up a community-controlled renewable energy generating co-operative in the City of York area. Our mission is to promote the principle and practice of community-owned renewable energy, to build support and ultimately install one or more energy sources to sell to the National Grid.
