Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This Thanksgiving my family came from Denver and Tucson to be with us, it was so great having everyone together! I had fun doing the table with some help from my friend Sabina. Loved seeing my sis and her family. Notice my Dad's 'mini-me' Luke. Dad always carves the turkey. My mom wanted a pic with her grandkids.nice. Statue show at Forum shops in Caesars. Blake and Brady had fun looking at the fish. Love how Emme is looking at Luke, too cute! Engagement photo...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This year for Christmas we headed south to Tucson, Arizona! Jackie's husband Brian just joined a practice there in July and they had a new baby, Brady, in September. It was so nice see where they have been living and get to meet the newest member of the family. Jackie's decorations were very cute. Complete with her collection of Santa doctors! I was so happy to get out of rainy Henderson and to 70 degree temperatures in Tucson! Let the free-for-all begin!

Blog Buffet: March 2011
http://blog-buffet.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 30, 2011. I made this for dinner last night and it was so good! And easy, which is always a plus. I cut the peppers in half instead of stuffing them whole (they cook faster) and used a mix of red and green peppers. I used a 4 cheese Mexican blend in the meat and as the topping, but I think Velveeta would be just as tasty and melt nicely. The finished product. You can hardly see the filling under all that melted goodness, but we love cheese! 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, chopped.

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! Back to school.back to school. Drew begins 1st grade. Drew was BEYOND ready for school to start this year. Our summer was jam packed of fun activities, yet he was still bored. I think he really loves the structure of school. The whole family was there to see Drew off. Drew and some buddies, they were excited! He was so ready to be a big boy and absolutely loved everything about school. I feel silly for being nervous. I am so proud of my Luke E! After dinner we...

Blog Buffet: Dessert for Breakfast
http://blog-buffet.blogspot.com/2011/02/dessert-for-breakfast.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. That's basically what this recipe is. Of course once I tell you it's from Paula Deen, I'm sure you won't be surprised. I made this a few days ago and it is sinfully good! A tad rich for breakfast so a little goes a long way. But life is short so why not eat dessert for breakfast once in a while? Shake things up, people! Bananas Foster is my favorite dessert so I couldn't resist this recipe. Bananas Foster French Toast. 6 croissants, halved lengthwise. 1 cup heavy cream. Im Sure...

Blog Buffet: We're Not Perfect, We're Parents
http://blog-buffet.blogspot.com/2011/02/were-not-perfect-were-parents.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. We're Not Perfect, We're Parents. After reading her post, I felt compelled to share it. Mayim Bialik, aka Blossom, has shared her parenting methods, attachment parenting, which are interesting to say the least. Read her post and then come back for my thoughts: Mayim's article. 2 Natural childbirth is a right and a privilege. It absolutely is a right. A privilege? 4 I have no problem with slings although I didn't use one. Almost exclusively instead of a stroller though? I agree...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! Drew's kindergarten class did a little play that described the 'First Thanksgiving.' The parents of the students were invited to watch and bring in traditional thanksgiving foods for all the children to try. We were so lucky that Grandad and Jennifer had just drove into Henderson from San Diego and went with us to see Drew. I am mosoique and I am Chief of my tribe," was Drew's line. Note: there are nearly NO candies left on it.where did they go? Drew is Luke's...

Our life raising three sweet and silly boys! This year the boys wanted to be Super Mario Brothers for Halloween. We decided to all be characters from the game. Drew is Luigi, Luke is Mario, Blake is Toad, Mikel is Yoshi and I am Princess Peach. The kids had quite a few parties to go to. Luke and Sofia cracking up at each other. Blake wants attend school so badly, so any chance he gets he walks right in and acts as if he's a student there. Trick-or-treating at The Cottages:. The girls looked beautiful!
