Wednesday, March 18, 2015. The staff of life. Sometimes, when I'm making the ubiquitous (around our house at least) Peasant Bread. Instead of forming them into circular rounds, I roll half of the dough into "sticks" and put them in these pans. I remember at her funeral, someone (her Bishop maybe? Spoke about how Jean Willis was always showing up at people's houses with bread sticks to spread comfort, healing, or love. And as I fill them with delicious dough, I think of my grandma. Those who came before.

These Are Our Moments. Friday, October 9, 2009. They had all kinds of info on all the species living in Utah, my kids were more interested in playing on the big frog. This was by far our favorite part! We could have spent an hour just playing in the touch pool. All the sting rays just swim around the edges of this big pool and let you pet them. Tuesday, December 03, 2013. Brain Dump - of randomness (naturally). I'm not the rabid fan of The Biggest Loser. That I once was. I'm not sure why, but it feels stale to me. I just have a hard time caring about these people and their "journey". Maybe I care more about the "journeys" of people that I actually know in real life, and there's only so much caring to go around? Probably none of the above. It's fun to think about though. I've been missing my Tayneshia a bit more lately. That's been a bummer.
