I just registered and put my money down for my spot in the race on Oct. 9th. I am continuing to condition my self by running in the early mornings, I need to get on the bike some more, but I am not entirely sure how well a Mountain bike on the road will help with training. I may have had a slight taste of guilt in my mouth regarding last weekend but it’s all gone now. I’m back on track, back on course. Breakfast – 3 eggs with a handful of broccoli. Next week is supposed to be another week of very cold weather but I plan to get out there an hour or so for at least 2 of the nights to keep chipping away at the driveway. I think I measured myself 3 times this morning but kept coming up with the same number. So we’ll see what tomorrow brings. My first reaction is – what is helping this out the most? You're Not in Kansas Anymore. Friday, June 05, 2009. Why I Haven't Been Writing. So here's why I haven't been writing: I'm pregnant. The pregnancy is good (I'm 15 weeks! And it's been relatively easy so far. No morning sickness or nausea- just exhaustion that's getting better the further in I get. The DFW area got 5 inches of rain from Saturday into Sunday morning.
