Poor farmers were attacked by bandits, so they hired the seven samurai to protect their village in the film of The Seven Samurai. The Magnificent Sven was also based on seven men in poor Mexican village. Because the movie director, Yul Brynner was attracted by Akira Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai and he remake it.
