Thursday, January 29, 2015. Sketching some retro space vehicles for a project I am working on. The shapes can be so varied and unique because there really are no rules as to the shapes and designs because who's ever seen a real UFO anyways. So for now there's no rules, or not at least until some little green aliens land and tell me that I am designing their spaceships all wrong. Friday, January 30, 2015. I love to paint, but for me there’s nothing like the immediacy and satisfaction of drawing. Sometimes I try to do a series of drawings on one subject and then give that subject different personalities and character traits. Sometimes I challenge myself to use inanimate objects too like a ball, flower or a piece of wood etc. and see how I can add personality to them.
